Copper Shores will award three $2,000 scholarships to individuals from Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw and Ontonagon counties wishing to pursue post-secondary education.

This new fund will help provide children in the Calumet-Laurium-Keweenaw region with the opportunity to learn how to skate and to participate in the local hockey club, regardless of their household financial situation.
