Turning up the heat?
Front Page, week of July 30
My air conditioner remains unused, and as we enter the first week of August, I’m in awe that I’ve been adjusting my thermostat more often than opening the windows this summer. My shorts remain in the closet. And the forecast doesn’t make it seem that likely to change.
I’m also in awe of how long it takes simple paperwork to be processed by the state governments. This week I have a little time off and I’m going to use some of it to make inquiries about the status of my filings, and see what can be done to expedite them—likely more fees.
Not much else happening with Copper Beacon this week, but plenty happening out in the community!

Not clear on the drama of the situation, but the result is that Grant Township is short a couple of public servants.
