Now recruiting!
Front Page, Week of August 20, 2022
I’m thrilled to be able to start recruiting freelancers!
Copper Beacon now has the legal authority to operate in Michigan, so we can execute freelance contracts, cut checks, and all that fun stuff that makes a business a business.
If you are or if you know a person interested in learning how to produce local news stories (and get paid for it), let me know by replying directly to this email, or emailing me@joshuavissers.com.

The final piece of the puzzle that’s keeping me from calling Copper Beacon’s foundation complete is 501(c)3 tax-exempt status with the IRS. The paperwork is filed and we’re just waiting to hear back. It should be any day, and there are some provisions that allow me to move forward with some fundraising in the meanwhile.
